All the competition areas are located to the west of London.
Access to this region of the UK is very easy:
- There are excellent motorway links to this part of the UK, with the competitions areas being within the area surrounded by the M4, M25, M40 and the A34 (dual carriageway)
- By air, this part of the UK is well served, with the four London airports all within one hour’s drive. Birmingham, Southampton and Bristol airports are also within easy reach.
- Ferry terminals at Dover, Southampton and Felixstowe are all within 2½ hours drive.

Tourist Information
The Thames Valley has many interesting places to visit, including:

Reading, with the Kennet and Avon canal running through the centre, with shopping, restaurants and historic abbey ruins.

The beautiful Chiltern Hills, which contain a mass of footpaths and off-road cycling trails (including Aston Hill Bike Park).

A range of stately or historic homes, including Cliveden, Waddesdon Manor, Hughenden Manor, West Wycombe Park,Greys Court, Basildon Park, Nuffield Place, and many more.

For children there is Legoland near Windsor, Windsor Castle, steam trains at Chinnor, a railway museum at Didcot, Bekonscot Model Village, and parks, some with Go Ape, bikes and Forest Segways for hire, etc.
The area has a mass of attractive little villages and towns, with nice pubs, coffee shops and a wide range of eating options.
