Putting the Festival into JK25
Climbing Wall
True to the Outdoor City name, at the Sprint you'll be able to have a go for free on a climbing wall erected especially for JK25 in the Arena at the heart of the City Centre. And with it only being Day 1, you'll hopefully have lots of energy left to give it a go!
Biathlon Orienteering
Courtesy of the Swedish Multisport Federation, you'll once again be able to try your hand at Biathlon-O with electronic rifles and short orienteering loops. Get the hang of the format on Day 2, before competing in (we think) the first civilian Biathlon-O competition in the UK! Participation is free, and only takes 10 mins. More info here.
String Course & Mazes
On Days 2 and 3 we will be offering a free string course or maze in the Arena, aimed predominantly (but not exclusively!) at children. Participants will receive a small prize on completion.
Commentary Shoutouts
As if all the above fun wasn't enough, we'll also be providing a facility to send in shoutout requests to the Commentary Team. Whether it's to celebrate a significant anniversary, thank a fellow competitor for an act of kindness, or let us know a fun fact - we want to hear from you! This facility will be available on the website both in the run-up to, and for the duration of, the event, and we hope it'll be a fun addition to JK25.
