In creating the start lists we have tried hard to take account of your start preferences, but in some cases this may not have been entirely possible. We have a number of constraints imposed by the need for large numbers of marshals to ensure your safety on day 1, so the Near start on that day has a reduced overall start window. We also have various rules that apply to the start order for Elite classes, and seeding of all classes, which also add to the challenge.

Please accept the start times you have been allocated, unless there is a significant issue that makes them unworkable. Having to make changes to the start times imposes a workload on the volunteer resources, the capacity of which is limited.
